It was specifically designed as part of Pope Francis’ personal project. Inspired by the logo of the Scholas Ocurrentes schools, an educational initiative promoted by Pope Francis, and the emblematic tree of the Church, the olive tree, this work fuses art and nature in a unique way. The design of the sculpture was conceived to convey a message of peace, harmony and care for the environment. The Scholasl logo served as the inspiration to incorporate the figure of the olive tree into the sculpture. The olive tree is a symbol of peace and wisdom in the Christian tradition and is associated with the connection between humanity and nature.
